Alabama vs. Southern Miss - A House Divided!

It's not surprise that Mason and I don't pull for the same football team. I am an Alabama Fan and he is a Southern Miss fan. I like to give him a hard time about pulling for Southern Miss, which drives him crazy. Haha! We attended the football game yesterday with my brother Troy, and his sweet girlfriend Sam. Our tickets were right on the 30 yard line and were amazing. It was a great day because my team, Alabama won but more importantly it was fun to spend time with Mason, Troy and Sam. The weather could have not been more perfect. It was the first time that I could really feel fall in the air. There is just something about fall that I love. Roll Tide Y'all! Hope everyone had a happy football Saturday!

How we Celebrate Birthdays!

On Saturday, my sweet husband turned 27! Since he is still on 2nd shift and we rarely get to spend time together during the week I wanted to come up with a way to make his birthday extra special. I made sure every day Mason received a birthday present when he got home from work. For a guy who is so laid back about everything, he was so excited each and very day. He loved having seven days that were all about him. I have to admit, I loved it too. It was so much fun putting together all of his presents.

I had a lady that is local to Birmingham make cake pops that were especially designed for him. She custom made cake pops made up of his two favorite things, football and the Saints. I think they turned out so cute and they were very delicious. Since, Mason is not a huge cake person these were the perfect thing for him. If you are in the market for a super cute way to show someone you love them check out Jamie's Sweet Revenge site. Her work is amazing!

This was such a fun birthday! I hope we can continue this tradition every year. The presents don't have to be anything huge just little surprises to make someone feel loved and special. How do you celebrate birthdays with those that you love?

Free Tickets are the Best Tickets!

ATL BOUND! Roll Tide!

On Friday of last week, a coworker of mine mentioned he had two tickets for the Alabama vs. West Virginia game.He said he wasn't going to use them and would GIVE them to me and Mason. Talk about a happy girl! So Saturday morning we woke up pretty early, put on our game day attire and headed to Atlanta to kick off football season. We had so much fun! As soon as we arrived in Atlanta, Mason requested we go to Fox Bros BBQ for lunch. He had been there a couple months back with some friends and loved it.
Delish!

Someone was not in the mood for pictures!

Once we wrapped up lunch we headed to the Georgia Dome. But all of the sudden I see a snow cone stand. I make Mason pull over so I can get my fix. If you know me you know I love snow cones! :) This particular snow cone was HUGE. I actually ordered a small but it really doesn't look like at small at all. It was delicious.

Ahhhh...I love snow cones!

This was s size small....

After I consumed my fabulous snow cone we were finally on our way to the game. Our seats were amazing. Thanks Bob! Even though Alabama did not play that great we still came out with a Win! We someone managed to not get into traffic and made it home by 9 pm. It was a perfect day. We are so happy that football is back! Hope everyone else enjoyed their football Saturday!

Warming up!

Love, Love Love!!
