It's been a crazy busy week in the McIntyre household. Let me just say this winter weather is nuts. Can you believe we were at 74 degrees and three hours later at 44 degrees? It's bizarre...not to mention we had an ice storm that confined me to my parents house. I was in Huntsville visiting my family and working at our Huntsville Showroom when the storm hit so I spent an extra day at my parents in order to let the ice melt. Along with the crazy weather, I also had a big event for work, the Huntsville Home & Garden Show.  It was a great show and a lot of fun but extremely exhausting!

Mason and I also slipped away Friday evening and headed to the Grand Ole Opry. We had a great time! We got to see Old Dominion, Point of Grace, Ricky Skaggs and a few others. Saturday we attended the Outdoor BBQ Grill, Hearth & Patio Expo at the Music City Center. Saturday afternoon on our way back we stopped at the Jack Daniels Distillery. It was such an experience. I loved it. I'm not a Jack Daniels fan but I do have to say it was very interesting to see how it's made. We went to dinner with some of our best friends on Saturday evening and had a blast. Sunday, I worked the home show for the final day. All in all it was a great fun filled, busy weekend. Not to get all of our laundry done and clean our house....a never ending job! Hope everyone has a great week!

My Weekend in Chattanooga!

My work is opening a new store in Chattanooga in the next few months. This is something I am super excited about since Chattanooga is one of my most favorite places to visit. Just last weekend I headed to Chattanooga for the weekend to attend the Home and Remodeling Expo. The company I work for had a booth at the show. I am thankful I have friends who are always willing to come along for the ride. Morgan and Erica decided to spend the weekend with me. It really made my weekend of work a lot better. We had a blast. Our weekend include fabulous food, enjoying the downtown area, endless games of Uno, and too many laughs and giggles to count.

Easter at the Beach

My poor little blog has been very neglected lately. But today I woke up this morning and told myself I have to write on my blog! Time is passing and if I don’t blog there will be so many memories I am going to forget. Let me flash back a week ago...

Mason and I took a road trip to my parent’s condo in Destin, FL. We were so excited to get away for the weekend. We had big plans of soaking up some sun, eating lots of seafood and doing a little shopping. Well we did get to do 2 of the 3 things on the list. The sun did not come out while we were there. It was pretty chilly. A high of 63 degrees to be exact. Too cold for this girl! We had fun shopping and eating lots of yummy seafood. It was good to relax and enjoy some time away but not exactly the trip we were hoping for. We are already looking forward to going back and enjoying the warm weather!

I'm in love with Palm Trees! Took this picture during one of our shopping trips!

Another Wonderful Weekend!

Hello Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a wonderful weekend. Friday after work, my best friend, Colby & I  went shopping. We left around 6pm and didn't make it home until 1. Once you throw in shopping, dinner, and a Wal-Mart trip it equals a LONG night. We had so much fun. I think the highlight for the night would be that I scored cute new pleather pants, a jacket, and a cute necklace. I forgot to take pictures but trust me it's such a cute outfit. Saturday morning, I woke up pretty early to clean the house and get ready for my Mom, Grandmother, and Granddad to visit. This was the first time my grandparents have seen our house. They loved it! I don't know why I never remember to take pictures but we had a great time visiting and catching up. Then we all went to The Bright Star. Which is a very legendary restaurant in Birmingham, AL. The Bright Star opened it's doors in 1907 and is known for their amazing food and service. It was such a treat eating there with my family. After lunch, we all went shopping at Marshall's and Target. I didn't really see anything I couldn't live without. However, my mom did bring me a cute rug for my kitchen as my Valentine's treat. It's cute...pictures coming I promise.  As soon as my grandparents and Mom left, Mason and I ran home threw some clothes and my beauty products in a bag and headed off to Philadelphia, Mississippi for a casino night. Mason went there for his bachelor party right before our wedding so since he dropped some money there they gave us a free room this weekend. Of course we took advantage of a night away. We had so much fun. On the way there I slept like a baby. Mason snapped a couple pictures but I rather not show those. Haha...Once we got there we hung out and got ready in our room and then headed to the casino. I learned how to play black jack and loved it. Mason walked away $70 bucks up and I walked away $20 down. Not to bad...We got up early Sunday morning and drove home. It was such a beautiful day that we had the sunroof open and county music blaring. I loved every second of it. Weekends are just fabulous. I so look forward to time with my family and friends. Here are some snapshots of our weekend.

The Famous Bright Star!

Our Hotel, The Golden Moon. It was actually pretty nice I was pleasantly surprised :)

My sweet & handsome husband! Photo shoot before the casino.

I love the Money Wheel Slots. Too bad they didn't love me this time. Maybe next time I'll win!
