Saturdays are for Family Time
Saturday morning, we woke up early, got ready and headed to our favorite donut shop, Shipley's. Their donuts and kolaches are so amazing. Nothing really even compares. It's always a special treat when we go there. We picked up enough kolaches and donuts for 10 people and headed to see our sweetest little nephew in Montgomery. We had a blast spending the day with Mason's side of the family. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful group of people that I know call my own family. Love them all so much! Can we please chat about how adorable my nephew Tripp is? He melts my heart. We love that little baby so much! Baby Tripp was defiantly the highlight of the weekend!

Alabama vs. Southern Miss - A House Divided!
It's not surprise that Mason and I don't pull for the same football team. I am an Alabama Fan and he is a Southern Miss fan. I like to give him a hard time about pulling for Southern Miss, which drives him crazy. Haha! We attended the football game yesterday with my brother Troy, and his sweet girlfriend Sam. Our tickets were right on the 30 yard line and were amazing. It was a great day because my team, Alabama won but more importantly it was fun to spend time with Mason, Troy and Sam. The weather could have not been more perfect. It was the first time that I could really feel fall in the air. There is just something about fall that I love. Roll Tide Y'all! Hope everyone had a happy football Saturday!

It was a very Merry Christmas!
Our Christmas Card...please excuse the glare :) |
We had such a wonderful Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve & Christmas Day with my family in Athens, Alabama. Of course the gifts are always nice but my favorite thing about Christmas is having my entire family together. It just makes me happy! Christmas morning, we opened gifts from Santa and my parents and then headed to my Memaw's house for lunch. It was delicious too. I really need to do a better job at taking pictures. I don't know how but it totally slipped my mind and the only photo I took was of cute little Max dressed up like Santa. After we indulged in all the wonderful food and opened our presents it was time for Mason and I to head back to our house in Birmingham. We really had a wonderful Christmas together and feel truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives. I hope you all had a great Christmas as well! I'm already looking forward to Christmas 2014.
Love,
Leah
