Things I'm loving on Saturday!

Today has been a blast! It's exactly what I needed. Hope you all are having a great weekend as well. :)

1.) Mason and I had a blast passing out candy to our neighbors. We went through 9 large bags of candy! It was so much fun.
2.) Sleeping in late and puppy snuggles.

3.) Quality time with my sweet husband! <3

4.) I really enjoyed getting some holiday shopping done today. The stores are stocking their shelves with Christmas decorations and gifts. I have knocked out almost half of my Christmas shopping. My goal is to be done by the first of December. If you don't have it already, download the app Shopular. It's my go to to see what sales my favorite stores are running.

5.) I am about to head to the kitchen and whip up one of my favorite fall foods...Beef stew. My mom gave me a new recipe to try. If the recipe is a winner I'll be sure to post it later.

Until later....

Xoxo!

Weekend Review

This weekend was wonderful. It was exactly what a weekend should be...good food, and good times with good people. Saturday morning I had to work the ZooRun at the Birmingham Zoo. Since the company I work for is a sponsor for the Birmingham Baron's Fast Food Race I thought it would be a good idea to bring the most beloved character, the taco out to the ZooRun for the kids to interact with.

After the ZooRun, I rushed home to get ready for my Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law to arrive. They live in Montgomery, which is about 90 miles away. They decided to come up and spend the weekend with us. The boy attended the Annual Regions Golf Classic. I know they had a blast. Erin and I decided we were due for a pedicure. I picked the cutest color....

Live Love & Carnaval

After pedicures and shopping, Erin and I rushed home to decorate for a surprise Birthday party for Mac. We finished just in time! Mac was surprised and it was a lot of fun!

After the fun birthday party we all got cleaned up and headed to a fun craw fish boil. The weather Saturday evening was wonderful! We had a lot of fun eating, enjoying the weather and making new friends. I hate I didn't take more pictures.

Sunday, we all went to  Tannehill State Park for Trade Days. Tannehill is not too far for our house. It's a BEAUTIFUL park that has so much character. Trade Days is the third weekend of the month starting in the April and goes until October. It's something Mason and I have always done together. We love it. I love seeing all of the different vendors and finding "treasures"!

Ending the post on something super positive...I want to wish my sweet husband a wonderful day at his NEW job! We are so blessed that this opportunity has come up. No one deserves it more. Words cannot express how happy I am that Mason will have "normal" hours. This is going to be a great thing for our family! God is so good!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Spring is here!

Lazy Night...watching movies!

Weekend Brunch

Does anyone else love Urban Dictionary? It make me laugh so much. I often find myself looking up words just to see what it says. I feel like the definition of weekend is spot on.

Weekend: The end of the work week, most commonly Friday (immediately after work) until Sunday night. Sunday night is the end of the weekend because you have to attempt to fall asleep feeling very depressed, due to another work week ahead.

SPRING! I love you!

Welcome to the McIntyre's

Hanging out with Little Sampson

Me & Little Sampson

This weekend was exactly what I needed...time with my husband, working in our yard, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Sometimes I think the best thing to do is step back and enjoy life for what it is. Some of my favorite moments are sitting on the front porch in our rocking chairs with Mason. The previous sentence sounds very Southern and I am okay with that.

I finally got my Gerber daisies planted and my front porch just how I like it. Spring, the McIntyre's are ready for you.

The high today is 75 and I am celebrating by wearing open toed wedges, colorful pants and a spring scarf. I'm also treating my self to manicure.  I'm thinking a purple color will be perfect! Woo hoo! Maybe Monday's aren't too bad after all.

Another Wonderful Weekend!

Hello Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a wonderful weekend. Friday after work, my best friend, Colby & I  went shopping. We left around 6pm and didn't make it home until 1. Once you throw in shopping, dinner, and a Wal-Mart trip it equals a LONG night. We had so much fun. I think the highlight for the night would be that I scored cute new pleather pants, a jacket, and a cute necklace. I forgot to take pictures but trust me it's such a cute outfit. Saturday morning, I woke up pretty early to clean the house and get ready for my Mom, Grandmother, and Granddad to visit. This was the first time my grandparents have seen our house. They loved it! I don't know why I never remember to take pictures but we had a great time visiting and catching up. Then we all went to The Bright Star. Which is a very legendary restaurant in Birmingham, AL. The Bright Star opened it's doors in 1907 and is known for their amazing food and service. It was such a treat eating there with my family. After lunch, we all went shopping at Marshall's and Target. I didn't really see anything I couldn't live without. However, my mom did bring me a cute rug for my kitchen as my Valentine's treat. It's cute...pictures coming I promise.  As soon as my grandparents and Mom left, Mason and I ran home threw some clothes and my beauty products in a bag and headed off to Philadelphia, Mississippi for a casino night. Mason went there for his bachelor party right before our wedding so since he dropped some money there they gave us a free room this weekend. Of course we took advantage of a night away. We had so much fun. On the way there I slept like a baby. Mason snapped a couple pictures but I rather not show those. Haha...Once we got there we hung out and got ready in our room and then headed to the casino. I learned how to play black jack and loved it. Mason walked away $70 bucks up and I walked away $20 down. Not to bad...We got up early Sunday morning and drove home. It was such a beautiful day that we had the sunroof open and county music blaring. I loved every second of it. Weekends are just fabulous. I so look forward to time with my family and friends. Here are some snapshots of our weekend.

The Famous Bright Star!

Our Hotel, The Golden Moon. It was actually pretty nice I was pleasantly surprised :)

My sweet & handsome husband! Photo shoot before the casino.

I love the Money Wheel Slots. Too bad they didn't love me this time. Maybe next time I'll win!
