Weekend Brunch

Does anyone else love Urban Dictionary? It make me laugh so much. I often find myself looking up words just to see what it says. I feel like the definition of weekend is spot on. 

Weekend: The end of the work week, most commonly Friday (immediately after work) until Sunday night. Sunday night is the end of the weekend because you have to attempt to fall asleep feeling very depressed, due to another work week ahead.

This weekend was exactly what I needed...time with my husband, working in our yard, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Sometimes I think the best thing to do is step back and enjoy life for what it is. Some of my favorite moments are sitting on the front porch in our rocking chairs with Mason. The previous sentence sounds very Southern and I am okay with that. 

I finally got my Gerber daisies planted and my front porch just how I like it. Spring, the McIntyre's are ready for you. 



The high today is 75 and I am celebrating by wearing open toed wedges, colorful pants and a spring scarf. I'm also treating my self to manicure.  I'm thinking a purple color will be perfect! Woo hoo! Maybe Monday's aren't too bad after all.

ATL Fun!

Hello Friends! Today I wanted to blog about my recent trip to Atlanta. Every year my work is a sponsor for the Hope Fashion Show which benefits the American Cancer Society. It's a great excuse to head to Atlanta for the weekend enjoy some shopping and attend an event that is so amazing. Every time I leave the show I feel so uplifted and blessed. It's such a refreshing view. I got to spend time with some interior designers that we do business with and visit the Viking  Showroom and SubZero Showroom. Casey and I also attended a cooking demo at the SubZero Wolf Showroom and it was such an amazing experience. I feel like I gained  a lot of knowledge last night at the Demo. The highlights of the trip were spending time with my work bestie, Casey, shopping at Lenox and picking up some new LUSH products. :)

Goals for the next week!

 


Does anyone else every feel like they get in a funk? I think that is what I am in. I usually am so excited to get off work and clean, cook dinner, and do all of those household duties but this week I have no had zero motivation to do ANYTHING. My mom suggested that I start taking vitamins so I just purchased the Women's 1 A day gummy vitamins. I'm hoping they will get me energy. I still think I am dragging from the wedding we attended this weekend. There are little errands that I need to run after work but I just don't want too. Since I feel like I need some major motivation today I decided to share some motivational quotes that will hopefully put a little pep in my step and help me get back to getting things done. 

Here is my list of things I want to accomplish this week:
1.) I want to finish laundry & put clothes away. 
2.) Take vitamins daily
3.) Use my latisse every day to my lashes
4.) Visit a new church this weekend with Mason
5.) Clean out closet
6.) Get carpet cleaned in master bedroom and office 
7.) Walk around neighborhood when the weather is nice 
8.) Organize pantry
9.) Meal plan for next week
10.) Add all bills to my calendar 

Weekend in Biloxi!

This past weekend my husband and I headed to Biloxi for his Brother's wedding. Friday evening was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I was in charge of setting up the room, decorating, and making sure everything looked great before the Bride & Groom and wedding party arrived. I think everything turned out pretty good. Saturday was the wedding day and it could not have been a prettier day. Mason looked so cute in his tux. :)

 The positives of the weekend were seeing Mason's family, meeting his Dad for the first time, and hanging out with his college friends. 

So today, on Monday I am happy it is a new week. I'm thankful to be back to work.
